TASTING NOTES : 93/100 points. This 12 year old white wine is a still going strong. Fantastic depth with flavors of melon, apricot and honey. Very recommendable. Medium lemon color with Primary aromas of citrus, lemon. Tropical, melon. Minerality such as flint and petroleum. Tertiary aromas of honey. Medium + acidity and M body. Nice age on the 2006 vintage, very enjoyable now

ABOUT THE WINERY : Bordon is produced by Bodegas Franco-Espanolas; founded in Rioja in 1890, they remain today a fairly traditional Rioja producer. It is located in the heart of Logrono, Rioja's largest city, and is the last classic winery left standing there. The winery is now owned by Carlos and Rosa Eguizábal, who also own Bodegas Federico Paternina, another longtime producer founded in 1896.
