TASTING NOTE :  Colour: Luminous pretty clear yellow. Nose: Fresh and fruity nose on notes of minerals, citrus fruits, dried fruits raised by pleasant vanilla notes. Palate: Tender and very fruity attack with a fine texture, bold with a finish still on freshness. About the Wine : The wine is vinified with the traditional Burgundian process. 80 % of the Cuvée is aged in vats and 20 % in oak barrels (1/3 new barrels, 1/3 one-year-old barrels, 1/3 two-year-old barrels) during 9 to 15 months.

ABOUT THE WINERY :  The history of Patriarche was written by audacious men and women starting in 1780 in Beaune. The traditional care of the winemaking methods make their wines a bench-marking classic of the regional style with a lot of freshness and great balance. This Burgundy white wine is a balanced blend of grapes coming from the Côte de Beaune for the structure and from the Mâcon region for their freshness and minerality. The Cuvée Elégance is the result of the talent of the Cellar Master who has selected Chardonnay grapes harvested at perfect maturity and has aged the wine in 20% new barrels.
