In the glass, this red wine from LGI Languedoc Wines reveals aromas of blackberries, black cherries, plums, blueberries and blackcurrants, complemented by oriental spices, cinnamon and gingerbread spice. ABOUT THE WINERY : The basis for the balanced Hornhead Malbec from the Languedoc are grapes from the grape variety Malbec. After the harvest, the grapes reach the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for several months in oak barrels.
PAIRING : Enjoy this red wine from France best tempered at 15 - 18°C as an accompanying wine to stuffed peppers, duck breast with sugar snaps or roasted calf's liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce.
